Ring size guide
Getting the size right takes five minutes and avoids the most common reason a ring goes back. Measure a finger you already wear a ring on, at the end of the day when your hands are largest.

How to measure at home
- Choose a finger you wear a ring on and does not swell in heat. The ring finger is typical.
- Wrap a strip of paper or non-stretch thread snugly around the base of the finger, where the ring sits.
- Mark where the ends overlap. Do not pull it tight; you want a comfortable fit.
- Measure the marked length in millimeters and find it in the circumference column above.
- If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for a band with a wide shank, and staying at size for a thin band.
Measuring a ring you already own
If you already own a ring that fits well, measure its inner diameter with a ruler or a jeweler's caliper and match it to the diameter column. This is more reliable than tracing a circle, which is the most common error people make.
Timing
Measure at the end of the day, not in the morning. Fingers are larger in the evening and in warm weather, so a morning measurement is too small. In cold weather, fingers shrink, so never size in winter.

Wide vs. thin bands
Band width changes the fit. A 3mm band and a 6mm band at the same nominal size do not feel the same, and a wide band needs more room. If you are near a boundary, tell us the band width and we will factor it in. See metals guide.
International conversions
Sizing systems differ by region, and errors cluster at the boundaries. Our US chart above includes UK letter equivalents and Japanese numbers for the common range. If you know your size in another system and it falls between sizes here, tell us the system rather than converting it yourself.
Frequently asked questions
What size should I buy if I do not know?
Do not guess. Measure as above, or ask someone to measure for you. It takes five minutes and is far more reliable than estimating. If you want certainty, we can make a physical sample in your metal first.
Should I size up or down?
Size up if in doubt, and size up specifically if the band is wide or the setting is substantial. Fingers vary through the day and temperature, and a slightly loose ring can be sized down, but a tight one is uncomfortable and hard to remove.
Is resizing free?
One free resizing within the first year for standard rings, under our warranty. Custom rings that have been resized are final sale under our returns policy.
