Quality assurance
Certification tells you about the stone. Inspection is about the ring. Both are necessary, and we do both.
Stone verification
The report number for the stone is confirmed against the specification recorded for your order. Carat, color, clarity, and cut must match what you were shown and approved before production began.
Multi-point inspection
Each finished ring is checked against the following before it is cleared for dispatch:
- Stone security — the diamond is firmly seated with no perceptible movement under pressure
- Alignment — the stone sits level and centered in the setting, not tilted
- Dimensional accuracy — band width, stone height, and setting position match the approved CAD model
- Surface finish — no casting porosity, no visible tool marks, no rough or abrupt edges
- Size — measured against the requested ring size
- Polish and cleanliness — final professional cleaning, no fingerprints, haze, or residue
Who inspects
Inspection is performed by the jeweler or technician who did not do the original fabrication wherever staffing allows, because a second set of eyes catches what familiarity hides.
If a ring fails inspection
It goes back for correction. It does not ship with a note. A ring that fails is a signal about a process, and we would rather absorb the cost than pass the problem to you.
